If you are a sports team, community group, youth group or other charity that provides a boost to Calgary, we can support you. Previously, groups such as Girl Guides, Boy Scouts, youth sports teams, and church youth groups have used us to raise the money they need for their projects.
Yes. Because our coffee is roasted specifically for your order, we have to meet minimum sizes in order to roast efficiently and coast effectively so you can make the profit you need. For all orders, we must have a minimum of 30 bags (1 pound each) per roast. For example, if you would like to place an order for one roast, say Medium, you would need to order at least 30 bags. If you would like to place an order of multiple roasts – such as a Medium Roast as well as a Dark Roast – you would need to order at least 30 bags of each type (60 total). We currently offer 2 products – a dark roasted coffee and a medium roasted coffee – that were purposefully selected for two reasons: 1) so that your customers love their coffee and 2) so you make the most profit possible for your group.
For each roast, we can package them as Whole Beans or we can package them Ground, whatever your customer prefers.
There are a lot of variables in determining how much you will make such as the how dedicated and organized your group is as well as how aggressively you sell. We guarantee that you will earn 100% of the profit and that there is no maximum to how much you can sell.
There is no limit to the price you can sell a bag of coffee for but we ask that you start at $17 per bag, which gives you a $3 profit. If you can sell it for $18 or $19 then you can make $4 or $5, respectively.
Each order is split and packed by type of roast. Different roasts are easily distinguished by the label on front of the bag.
We require 30 days to complete your order, which gives us time to roast your beans so they are as fresh as possible, from the date you submit your order. You will be notified when the order is ready. We will even deliver it to your Calgary-based fundraising HQ for free! Or arrange for a time for you to come pick it up, if you would rather do that. Your customers pay you directly with whatever method you are setup to receive – typically cash, cheque or email money transfer. Then, when you place your order with us, we give you the complete cost for our products. The difference between the amount you collect and what you pay to Good Trade Co. for the products is the profit that goes towards your campaign.

Payment is required at the time the order is placed. If you need to use another method of payment, just let us know and we will do whatever we can to accommodate.
To be completely honest, we are not experts at this side of fundraising. We’ve seen groups collect cash and checks easily, and we’ve also seen groups use services like Square which allows you to accept credit cards and debit cards for a small fee. We use Square for our online and in-person plastic payments and it works really well.
Absolutely! We want to help you raise funds no matter where you are. Keep in mind that, due to some (long and boring) legislation, we are only only able to sell within Canada.

You bet! You can sell as many times as you want. All you have to do is place a new order that meets our minimum order size through our online form. Also, keep in mind that you don’t want to over-sell to your network. So take care in selecting the right times to fund-raise.
